Adapting...

K and I were so incredibly good at capitalizing on these, we lived 45 minutes away from each other and between our hectic work and travel schedules, all we ever really had was the stolen moments on weeknights and the few weekends that we spent trying to get away from everything. With our hours, it was very rare but when we did it was short and sweet...   Fast forward to 6 months of marriage and basically juggling an array of things all at once, it became clear to us both that we need to go back to focusing on us and scheduling the time. It is critical to do this because you can look back and wonder when last you left the comfort of your home and explored your beautiful surroundings.  As time has gone by, K and I have found ourselves finding and using every excuse in the book to keep us holed up in our house or at work, or with family, doing not much other than that.
